All good things must come to an end. Today, I walked out of Highway Tire for the last time. In February we sold Highway Tire to the Anderson family and after working with them for the past month to ensure a smooth transition, my time is up.
Fourteen years ago my brother Jeffrey and my Dad opened my brother’s dream shop, Highway Tire. At the time I was in college and planning to go to law school. However, after the loss of Jeffrey, I decided to fulfill his goal of working with my father at Highway Tire. This fall, I am giving myself a chance to pick up where I left off and I couldn’t be happier or more excited with my decision. I plan to enroll in law school starting in August.
I would like to thank our customers who have become some of our dearest friends, our vendors for supporting us, and our loyal employees for their years of dedication to our success. The visits, phone calls, and emails I have received from all of you over the past few weeks mean so much to me. Thank you for taking the time to wish me good luck and offer your words of encouragement and support.
My family will still be operating 3rd Generation Collision and I will be helping out until I head off for school, so please stop by. We are so happy for Scott and Robin Anderson and wish them success as they begin their exciting journey as the new owners of Highway Tire. I know that you will love and embrace them as you did us. I have truly enjoyed the month I got to work with Scott and Robin during the transition. There is not doubt that we are leaving you in good hands.
